Bio
Describing my beginnings as a budding young man from Champaign-Urbana Illinois, I caught the audio bug at a very young age during my Sophomore year of high school. Raised on classic rock and good manners I set out to expand my knowledge of recording and audio production. I found myself enrolled at Columbia College Chicago in 2007 and began building on my foundations as an audio professional.
My first inklings of the professional audio world came with internships at various studios. Learning the insides out of this business was an eye opening experience. I soaked everything in like a sponge and the output was a "green" audio engineer ready to work. And work I did...
Flash forward to 2011 I graduated Cum Laude from Columbia with a B.A. in Audio for Visual Media (which is essentially sound design and mixing for movies, commercials etc). I was more than ready and willing to go anywhere and do anything to be a part of the audio world I love.
Through hard work, determination, hustle and luck I found my first real audio gig at Tastytrade.com where I have been since graduation. Tastytrade is a web based financial network and trading platform with huge aspirations and very talented people working there. I loved every minute of my time working there but I feel it is time to move on and find a new challenge.
If there ever was a time in my life when I felt lucky, it was working at my next gig. I landed an audio board op job for A&E's series 60 Days In. This was the single most challenging and rewarding opportunity I have had yet. I am grateful for the people I worked with as well as the total output of our team.
My passion for audio and technology has only grown and I am hungry for new opportunities. I am a great team player and extremely passionate and determined to do my best. Thank you for reading and please take a look at my audio reel and resume for further insight of my professional experiences.
